Ira A Fulton Engineering
I am a skilled researcher and software developer leveraging my multidisciplinary expertise in mechanical engineering, data science, and geospatial IT solutions to drive innovative manufacturing applications, as demonstrated through my research projects and professional experience. Currently pursuing an MS in Manufacturing Engineering at Arizona State University (2024–2026), I am a part of the Chen Research Group, focusing on fog and vapor collection experiments inspired by natural processes as green initiative.
Research projects:
- Bio-Inspired Design: Developing microstructures for dust collection, leveraging CAD modeling, CFD analysis, and 3D printing.
- Laser-Assisted Grinding: Optimizing alumina ceramic machining processes through thermal analysis.
- Fluid Dynamics in Microchannels: Investigating electrokinetic flows and advancing microfluidic systems.
- Assistive Wearable Design: Enhancing real-time spatial awareness for the visually impaired via computer vision and NLP.
With professional experience as a software developer and consultant, I have contributed to projects in Python automation, GIS applications, and object detection systems. Notably, I have worked with Pinnacle Consulting LLC, S20.AI, and ICICI Bank, developing innovative IT and machine learning solutions.
Proficient in MATLAB, Python, COMSOL, and statistical tools like IBM SPSS, I also excel in mechanical design software such as SOLIDWORKS and ANSYS. His achievements include reaching the quarterfinals of the Texas Instruments India Innovation Challenge and representing IIT Bhubaneswar in national basketball tournaments.
Pankaj is passionate about leveraging advanced technologies to solve real-world problems, with a keen interest in sustainability and automation.
