Mcebisi Moyo is a Master of Global Management candidate at the Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University and holds a Master of Science in Financial Engineering. His academic and professional work sits at the intersection of global finance, cross-border payments systems, financial compliance, and international political economy.
With over three years of experience in banking and financial services across Africa and the United States, Moyo has worked extensively with core banking systems including Temenos T24, Postilion, FLEXCUBE, SMART Vista, and ETHIX. His expertise spans transaction switching, card management systems, remittances, AML compliance, and credit risk profiling. He has practical experience in global remittance ecosystems including Western Union, WorldRemit, MoneyGram, and Mukuru, providing him with operational insight into cross-border liquidity flows and regulatory frameworks .
At Arizona State University, he serves as a Verifier in Admissions, ensuring data integrity, regulatory compliance, and institutional accuracy under FERPA standards . He previously served as Director of Finance for the Thunderbird Africa Business Club, where he led budgeting and financial strategy initiatives supporting Africa-focused economic engagement.

He is the Founder of Nouvelle Phoenix Group, a financial and infrastructure venture focused on building scalable payment and mobility ecosystems between emerging and developed markets.
