Kristin Hersant is the Global Marketing Officer for ASU Learning Enterprise, where she is dedicated to expanding universal access to opportunity for learners – at every stage in life.
An experienced growth marketer, Kristin has been scaling technology start-ups into market leaders for nearly thirty years. Prior to joining ASU, Kristin was vice president of marketing for Groove, which she grew from an early-stage start-up to one of the top 3 sales engagement platforms, with 70,000 users at companies including ADP, Google, Uber and Capital One. Kristin successfully re-positioned the company as the leading sales engagement platform for global enterprises, increasing deal sizes to six and seven figures while securing a market-leader ranking in the Forrester Wave.
Kristin's extensive career also includes roles as vice president of marketing for Worklete, Linqia, Echo, and Livefyre. Notably, as vice president of marketing for Livefyre, she successfully scaled the start-up to a growth stage company with over 1,500 customers worldwide leading up to its acquisition by Adobe. She also joined StrongView as the tenth employee and first marketing hire, growing it into the #1 email service provider before it was acquired by Selligent in 2016.
Kristin has a passion for building and leading high-performing marketing teams, crafting compelling brand narratives, and leading technology companies through hyper-growth. She also serves as a go-to-market advisor for Scale Venture Partners and is a mentor to early stage startups in the Techstars Anywhere and Techstars San Diego accelerator portfolios.
