Dr. Estrada-Carpenter is an observational astronomer studying how galaxies grow and evolve by tracing the flow of gas into, through, and out of galaxies. His research uses star-forming clumps to investigate the physical processes that drive galaxy evolution, combining data from JWST, HST, and soon Roman. He is also the developer of Sleuth, a pipeline for analyzing wide-field slitless spectroscopy, and a member of the CANUCS, GRACE, and PEARLS collaborations.
