Jimmie Adriazola is an Assistant Professor in the School of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences at Arizona State University. He was previously an NSF Mathematical and Physical Sciences ASCEND Fellow and ASU Presidential Postdoctoral Fellow, a visiting assistant professor at Southern Methodist University, and a postdoctoral scholar at the University of California, Santa Barbara. He completed his Ph.D. in mathematical sciences at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. He primarily works on the analysis, control, and learning of nonlinear waves and dynamical systems. His research spans PDE-constrained optimization, integrable systems, model reduction, and scientific machine learning, with applications across fluid, quantum, and optical physics.
