Jayn von Delden is a teaching faculty member in the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice at the Watts College of Public Service and Community Solutions at Arizona State University. von Delden joined ASU in 2014 and maintains research interests that include social constructions of gender and sexuality, family and the law; ethics, social and political philosophy; and punishment and forgiveness.
von Delden received a bachelor's degree in philosophy and judicial politics from Oregon State University in 1994, a juris doctor degree from the University of Iowa College of Law in 1998, and a doctorate in justice studies from Arizona State University in 2012
