Bowen Wang-Kildegaard received his PhD in Learning Science and Human Development from University of California, Berkeley.
His scholarship focuses on the cognitive science of language learning, bridging psychology, linguistics, and education. Employing behavioral experiments, computational models, statistical methods, and psychometrics, he investigates the cognitive processes and psycholinguistic factors underlying vocabulary learning and reading in both first and second language acquisition. He also develops theory-driven, evidence-based assessments and educational technology to enhance learning and teaching.
He is deeply passionate about teaching and has taught various courses in cognitive science and statistical analysis. He has helped many students succeed and is committed to continuous growth as an educator dedicated to student success.
