I am an MSW candidate passionate about supporting marginalized communities and advocating for systemic change, with a focus on mental health in rural and Indigenous populations, LGBTQ+ individuals, and those facing housing disparities. As a multiracial, non-binary, queer individual, I bring lived experience and a commitment to creating safe, empowering spaces where clients feel seen and valued.
In addition to my work in social work, I am also an artist who explores themes of identity, emotion, and the complex interplay between life and death. Through my creative practice, I process and express the nuances of the human experience which deeply informs my approach to social work. Both are driven by a desire to understand and address the root causes of the emotional and psychological challenges individuals face.
I strive to build authentic connections with people to collaboratively address barriers to care and make meaningful, lasting change through trauma-informed practices, advocacy, and innovative problem-solving.
