Long Bio
Christian Ravela is an assistant professor in the Department of English’s literature program, having formerly been director of the humanities and cultural studies program at the University of Central Florida. He specializes in 20th-century U.S. multiethnic literature, comparative ethnic studies and critical theory and is at work on the monograph, “Interethnic Worldliness: Multiethnic Bildungsromans and the Negative Dialectic of Race.”
