Zhengtao Gan is a researcher, engineer, and assistant professor in the School of Manufacturing Systems and Networks. His research focuses on computational mechanics, GPU and AI acceleration, and metal additive manufacturing. He specializes in multiphysics and multiscale modeling, integrating physics-based simulation with data-driven intelligence to advance the understanding and manufacturability of complex material systems. His achievements have been recognized with awards from the Air Force Research Laboratory and the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
