Antonio Torres-Moreno

Antonio de Jesus Torres-Moreno Jr. is a public historian and digital archivist specializing in early 20th-century border conflicts, regional framing, and Native American civil rights movements. Holding a B.A. in Sociology and a B.A. in Education, Society, and Human Development from UC Riverside, Antonio combines rigorous social theory with practical metadata engineering to bridge historical preservation and public access.

Currently completing his M.A. in North American History and Graduate Certificate in Public History at Arizona State University, Antonio works at the intersection of traditional archive workflows and modern technology. His recent work includes pioneering multi-agent AI metadata pipelines for physical photo collections, leading oral history projects on regional labor infrastructures, and producing public-facing history podcasts. Grounded in deep community leadership and bilingual advocacy, Antonio is dedicated to preserving marginalized narratives through structured digital workflows and community engagement.
