Shaofeng Zou is an associate professor with the School of Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering at Arizona State University. Previously, he was an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University at Buffalo, the State University of New York (2018 to 2024). He did his postdoctoral studies at the Coordinated Science Lab, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from July 2016 to August 2018, supervised by Prof. Venugopal V. Veeravalli. He completed his PhD in electrical and computer engineering from Syracuse University in May, 2016, supervised by Prof. Yingbin Liang (currently at The Ohio State University). I received a BE degree (with honors) from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2011. His honors and awards include a NSF CRII Award (2020) and a NSF CAREER Award (2024), the 2023 AAAI Distinguished Paper Award and the UB Exceptional Scholar: Young Investigator Award (2024). He is currently serving as an associate editor for IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing.
