Kevin Cordle is a Portfolio Manager with the Rob and Melanie Walton Sustainability Solutions Service.
In this role his focus is the commissioning and operation of a plastics recycling micro-factory. This factory will be the centerpiece of a hub and spoke model of plastics recycling in Arizona that emphasizes the circular economy. Kevin’s priorities are the safe, efficient operation of the facility, and training entrepreneurial minded individuals to utilize the technology to advance the circular economy in Arizona.
Prior to his current role, Kevin enlisted in the U.S. Navy from High School and entered the Naval Nuclear Power Training Program. He learned the fundamentals of reactor physics and steam plant mechanical operation. During his time in Nuclear Power, he was offered an appointment to the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD. Kevin graduated from USNA with a commission as an officer in the Navy. Kevin served for several years in multiple aviation squadrons as part of the Naval Aviation Maintenance Community. He was embarked on the USS Constellation during its wartime deployment to Iraq in the early 2000’s.
Upon leaving the Navy, Kevin worked in the not-for-profit arena. He worked for nearly a decade with Goodwill Industries of San Diego County, leading donation collection efforts in the Donation Center Department. He transferred to Goodwill of Central and Northern AZ just before the COVID-19 outbreak and led the Textile Grading and Warehouse Operations teams during his time there.
Kevin is an avid boxing and college football fan (Go Navy! Beat Army!), a reader of fiction and biography, and spends most of his free time enjoying activities with his family.
