Long Bio

Rebecca Wachs joins the School of Biological and Health Systems Engineering as an associate professor.Dr. Wachs’ current research focuses on engineering treatments for and developing models of chronic orthopedic pain. She is currently funded by the National Institutes of Health and the National Science Foundation. Before coming to ASU, she was an assistant professor of Biological Systems Engineering at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
