Dr. Nilesh Dixit is the Graduate Program Director and Assistant Teaching Professor in the Biological Data Science MS program at Arizona State University’s School of Mathematical and Natural Sciences. Known as a "Lego scientist," his diverse expertise includes biomedical instrumentation, earth sciences, and entrepreneurship. With over a decade of experience in earth sciences, particularly in energy resource exploration and carbon sequestration, Dr. Dixit has focused on leveraging large-scale datasets and computational models to study natural phenomena. At ASU, Dr. Dixit is now combining his passion for life sciences and mathematics with data science and biology.
