Bridget French serves as the Assistant to the Chair in the Department of English at Arizona State University, where she manages all academic personnel actions for faculty and supports departmental operations. With a career rooted in administrative leadership and organizational efficiency, she brings a broad range of experience across higher education, public service, and the private sector.
Born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, Bridget is an alumna of the University of Arizona. Her professional journey has taken her to Chicago and Washington, D.C., where she worked in the legal field as a paralegal, database administrator, and software operations trainer. Upon returning to Phoenix, she transitioned into roles within K–12 education, serving as an Executive Administrator and Assistant Director of Development. Her recent experience was as an Executive Specialist at the Arizona State Retirement System.
