Long Bio
As an Implementation Coach on the Next Education Workforce™ team, Amanda works in collaboration with K-12 school partners in Michigan and beyond to provide all students with deeper and personalized learning by building teams of educators with distributed expertise.
Throughout her fourteen years in K-12 education, Amanda has partnered with educators and organizations to design impactful programs and strategies that drive systemic improvements in schools. Amanda started her career as an elementary teacher and then elementary school principal in Minneapolis. Before joining the Next Education Workforce™ team, Amanda served as the Senior Managing Director, Educator Fellowships at Teach For America in Detroit, where she led an statewide initiative to provide best-in-class professional learning opportunities for high impact educators in communities across Michigan.
