Cheyanne Mumphrey is a faculty associate at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. She currently teaches a course in intermediate reporting and writing.
Mumphrey also works for The Associated Press as a national education reporter based in Phoenix, where she has been for five years. Prior to reporting, Mumphrey was a regional editor for the U.S. West.
Mumphrey holds a master's degree in communication studies and bachelor's degree in journalism from Northern Arizona University.
