Tyson Terry is an assistant professor in the School of Sustainability in the College of Global Futures and the School of Life Sciences in The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. He researches factors that promote the successful reproduction and maintenance of dryland plant communities. He uses various techniques such as experiments, big data, remote sensing and physiological models to understand the outlook for native and invasive species. He studies plant-climate interactions to see how abiotic conditions interact with disturbance, invasion and reproductive requirements to shape plant ecosystems.
