Sue Lafond joined Arizona State University in 2006 as an instructor and academic advisor for the New College of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences on ASU's West Valley Campus. She has served the Assistant Director of Academic Services for Pre-Health Professions at the West Campus, advisor to the ASU West Campus National AMSA Chapter and the West Campus Pre-Health Club. Additionally, Sue as served as an Instructional Specialist and Academic Advisor for the School of Mathematical and Natural Sciences as well as adjunct faculty where she taught a variety of science laboratories as well as Biology Behind the Crime Scene. In May 2019, Sue joined the undergraduate advising team for School of Computing and Augmented Intelligence in the Fulton Schools of Engineering as an Academic Success Coordinator and is currently the Manager Lead for SCAI's Undergraduate Advising Team on the Tempe Campus. She is an alumna of ASU, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in the Life Sciences; Cell Biology and Physiology, Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt Professional Certification, and a Master of Science in Global Technology and Development. As a life-long learner, Sue is currently pursuing a Master of Legal Studies at ASU's Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law. In her spare time, Sue enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors hiking, camping, scuba diving, & sailing.
