Price-Johnson brings over 25 years of experience in higher education administration to her role as the associate dean for admissions to the ASU John Shufeldt School of Medicine and Medical Engineering. In 2013, Price-Johnson received her PhD in higher education from the University of Arizona. From 2006-2020 she served as the executive director of admissions and financial aid for the University of Arizona College of Medicine, and in 2020 she was named founding associate dean for student affairs and admissions at the University of Arizona College of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to joining ASU, she served as the associate dean for student affairs at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California. Price-Johnson has also served in key national leadership roles with the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) as the former Chair for the Committee on Admissions (COA) and is the current Chair for the Western Group on Student Affairs (WGSA).
