Pori Park is an associate professor of religious studies at Arizona State University. She teaches religious traditions of Korea and East Asia, and Buddhism. Her research interests include monastic reforms, Buddhist nuns, urban Buddhist missions, sacred geography, and engaged Buddhism in modern Korea. Her recent publications include "Tracts on the Modern Reformation of Korean Buddhism" (2016); “Uplifting Spiritual Cultivation for Lay People: Bhikṣuṇī Master Daehaeng (1927-2012) of the Hanmaum Seonwon (One Mind Sŏn Center) in South Korea (2017)”; and “Buddhism in Post-Colonial Korea: Fundamentalism, Politics, and Challenges (2014).”
