Jesenia Shafi serves as the Program Coordinator for the Indian Legal Program and Tribal Gaming and Self Governance at the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law. In this dual role, she supports two of the nation’s most respected centers dedicated to Federal Indian Law, tribal governance, and the advancement of Native nations. With a blend of precision, cultural respect, and deep commitment to community, she oversees program operations, manages complex logistics, and coordinates high‑impact events that bring together students, faculty, tribal leaders, policymakers, and industry experts.
Her work spans a wide range of initiatives—from academic programming and student support to national conferences, executive education, and tribal‑focused workshops. Jesenia is known for her clear communication style and her ability to anticipate needs before they arise, ensuring that ILP and TGSG events run seamlessly from early planning through day‑of execution.
