Cassandra (“Cassie”) Uribe, LCSW, LICSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 13 years of experience in social services and behavioral health practice. Independently licensed in both Arizona and Washington state, Cassie brings a wealth of expertise to her role, having worked across diverse settings, including private practice, integrated healthcare, crisis intervention, child welfare, and most recently in forensic social work. Her commitment to evidence-based practices is reflected in her training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, Trauma-Focused CBT, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, and Solution-Focused Therapy.
As the founder and CEO of Cassie Uribe Counseling & Consulting PLLC, Cassie supports individual adults navigating ADHD, complex trauma, and anxiety while also providing executive function coaching and clinical supervision. She is an approved clinical supervisor in Washington State, leveraging over five years of experience in mentoring and developing social work teams.
Cassie has extensive experience counseling survivors of violence, child sexual abuse, and serious mental illness, as well as individuals experiencing homelessness and co-occurring disorders. Her prior roles include serving as an Integrated Mental Health Therapist in pediatric settings, an Emergency Department Social Worker, and a Clinical Shift Supervisor for a Mobile Crisis Team. She currently serves as a Licensed Social Worker with Pima County Public Defense Services, where she provides holistic support to clients involved in the criminal justice system. Her work includes psychosocial assessments, mitigation strategies, and advocacy to ensure equitable outcomes for underserved populations.
Cassie is deeply passionate about teaching and mentoring social workers. She has served as a guest speaker in social work classrooms and is a Continuing Education provider. She is dedicated to helping social workers feel excited about their work while ensuring they feel supported, seen, heard, and understood. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes cultivating resilience and enthusiasm in the profession.
Cassie’s academic journey underscores her dedication to lifelong learning. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) degree at California Southern University, focusing on ADHD and trauma-informed care. She earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Arizona.
Active in professional associations, Cassie has served in leadership roles with the National Association of Social Workers (NASW), including her current role as Board Member and Branch 2 Representative for the Arizona Chapter.
Passionate about empowering social workers, Cassie integrates her clinical expertise and teaching style with a culturally responsive, student-centered approach. She is committed to advancing social work education and supporting the next generation of practitioners.
