Long Bio
Liberty is a PhD student working with Dr. Ed Garnero. She uses seismology to understand the structure of the Earth's lowermost mantle, with a focus on ultra-low velocity zones (ULVZs). Other projects she works on include geodynamic modeling of tidally locked exoplanets to study their possible mantle convection patterns and surface expressions.
