Long Bio
Alec Bunn is a PhD student in the School of Computing and Augmented Intelligence at Arizona State University. He joined ASU after completing dual bachelor’s degrees in computer science and mathematics at the University of Washington, where he conducted research in machine learning, and natural language processing. At UW, he worked in Dr. Hannah Hajishirzi’s H2Lab studying training data properties that enable large language models to learn in-context as well as new methodologies to better evaluate LLMs on multiple choice question datasets. At ASU, Alec is working on the SHIELD, with research interests focused on improving advanced packaging technology for chip design.
