Jeff is the Executive Director of the Center for Local Government at Arizona State University, where he supports leadership development and innovation in public service. He brings decades of experience in local government, having served in multiple senior leadership roles, including City Manager for Peoria, Arizona.
Jeff holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Master of Public Administration from Arizona State University. He also completed the Senior Executives in State and Local Government program at Harvard University and was a Credentialed Manager through the International City/County Management Association (ICMA).
Throughout his career, Jeff has been deeply engaged in professional and civic leadership. He served as a Trustee of the Arizona State Retirement System, the state’s largest pension fund, and has held numerous leadership positions within key professional organizations. These include serving on the Board of Directors for the Arizona City/County Management Association, chairing the Government Finance Officers Association’s National Committee on Economic Development and Capital Planning, and serving as President of the Government Finance Officers Association of Arizona.
