Amanda McGlothan

Amanda McGlothan has joined ASU FIDM at ASU California Center Grand as the Assistant to the Director, Dennita Sewell. Born and raised in Compton, California, Amanda brings a unique blend of experience in administration, fashion, and fine jewelry. Her diverse background has equipped her with a dynamic approach to organization, strategy, and creative collaboration. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, New Media, Magna Cum Laude, from Southern New Hampshire University, where she refined her skills in digital media, storytelling, and strategic communication.

Before joining ASU, Amanda worked as a Secretary II for the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works, where she honed her administrative skills and gave back to communities throughout Los Angeles County. She also has a wealth of experience styling for major fashion productions, managing showrooms during Fashion Week, and working closely with designers in the fine jewelry industry, offering expert guidance on craftsmanship and market trends.
