As Director of Design, Annie sets the vision and direction for high quality professional learning for teams, schools, and school systems engaging with the Next Education Workforce. Promoting a positive teacher experience has always been central to Annie’s leadership and she is thrilled to expand on those efforts with the Next Education Workforce Team. She joined the team with over 20 years of experience in K-12 education, adult learning, and program implementation. Prior to joining the Next Education Workforce, Annie served as a senior director of product and program success with Springboard Collaborative. Before that, she spent 10 years as associate dean of the Relay Graduate School of Education New York Campus where she led faculty development and graduate student advisement. In her early career, Annie served as a first grade teacher in Washington, D.C. and became a reading specialist, director of staff development, and elementary school principal at Excellence Boys Charter School in Brooklyn, NY.
