Dr. Tobin is a postdoctoral scholar in the Gait and Balance Disorders Laboratory at ASU. My current research investigates the neural and behavioral mechanisms underlying gait, balance, and reactive stepping. I employ biomedical approaches (motion capture and EMG), neurophyschological assessments, and advance neuroimaging techiques (resting-state fMRI, diffusing and free-water imaging, and neuromelanin-sensitive imaging) to characterize motor function and brain pathophysiology in neurological disorders, with a particular focus on Parkinson's Disease.
