Megan Brand is an Assistant Professor at the School of Civic and Economic Thought and Leadership at Arizona State University, where she teaches civics and researches international security, with a focus on comparative public law. She received her PhD from Princeton University and has degrees from the University of Oxford, where she studied as a Marshall Scholar, the School of Oriental and African Studies, and Arizona State University. She has held recent fellowships with Princeton’s James Madison Program, the University of Pennsylvania’s Christopher Browne Center, and Notre Dame’s International Security Center. Prior to her doctoral work, she worked as a consultant for UNHCR and in philanthropic development.
