I’m a native Arizonan and attended Dobson High School in Mesa. I earned a B.S. in Business Administration and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University.
I began my career at the Arizona Department of Health Services where I worked for 10 years before joining Arizona State University in 1998. I worked in Student Services for 20 years providing guidance and leadership in student advising, student financial aid, and admissions. After 30 years of State service, I retired in 2019. After only six weeks, I quickly realized that retirement wasn't for me and I rejoined the workforce. I spent the last two years working at Banner Health as a Sr. Administrative Assistant before rejoining ASU in February 2026.
When I’m not at work I enjoy spending time with my family, playing with my 3 dogs, or working on DIY home improvement projects. I enjoy sports of all kinds and swam competitively through the start of my college years.
