Paul Inseok Jo is an Assistant Teaching Professor at the School of Public Affairs at the Hainan University-Arizona State University Joint International College (HAIC) at Arizona State University. He joined ASU in 2025.
Before joining the HAIC, he taught graduate courses at the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy at the University at Albany, State University of New York. He also worked for the New York State Justice Center for the Protection of People with Special Needs in Delmar, NY.
At ASU, he teaches a range of courses related to politics and policy, environmental policymaking, and public administration and the policy process. His research explores the intersections of energy policy, energy justice, and energy transitions, with a particular focus on the democratic policy process and qualitative research methods.
