As Senior Program Manager, Partner Success, Dara supports the strategy, implementation and and coordination of regional and state-level partnerships and grants to scale innovative, team-based staffing models in K-12 schools.
Dara brings over a decade of experience in K–12 education, including roles as a teacher, school leader, and district leader. Most recently as Director of Talent at Detroit Academy of Arts and Sciences (DAAS), she helped increase teacher retention and certification rates through initiatives including the district's Grow Your Own and Model Teacher Programs and supported the initial pilot of team-based staffing models in partnership with ASU NEW. Dara has presented nationally on educator recruitment and strategic staffing. She’s passionate about building equitable systems that support educators and improve outcomes for students.
