Fathia Elsisi is an award-winning multimedia journalist and filmmaker with more than a decade of experience telling human-centered stories. A graduate of Cairo University with a degree in mass communication, she focuses on amplifying the voices of women and marginalized communities in rural Egypt. Her films and reports have been featured at national and international platforms, including COP27, the Chouftouhonna Feminist Film Festival, the OIC Youth Capital Award, and the American University in Cairo. El Sisi has produced content for organizations such as Oxfam, AJ+, UNFCCC, GIZ, and several embassies. In 2021, she was named the Middle East winner of the Sheikh Hasina Youth Volunteer Award for her advocacy on environmental issues through video storytelling.
