Amy Sever is the Director of Staff Operations for Barrett, The Honors College at Arizona State University’s Polytechnic campus. In this role, she leads a dynamic cross-functional team, cultivates strategic campus partnerships, and designs initiatives that foster a meaningful student experience grounded in Barrett’s values: community and belonging, leadership and agency, and courage and curiosity.
With over 24 years of experience in student services, recruitment, academic advising, corporate engagement, and leadership development, Amy brings a deep understanding of how to build inclusive communities and empower both students and staff to thrive.
Amy is also a certified coach through ASU’s SUNlite Coaching program, where she supports leaders in clarifying goals, navigating challenges, and taking strategic action.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from the University of Evansville and a Master of Science in Communication Disorders from Arizona State University.
