Mengting Ge is an Assistant Professor of Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, and Environmental Design. She earned her Ph.D. in Architecture and Design Research from Virginia Tech and her Master of Landscape Architecture from Harvard University Graduate School of Design.
Mengting's research focuses on landscape sustainability, immersive technologies in design, urban green infrastructure, and environmental perception. Her work often integrates advanced digital tools, ecological systems, perception studies, and multidisciplinary collaboration to address landscape sustainability and environmental resilience.
Prior to joining ASU, Mengting worked at Sasaki, where she gained professional experience in large-scale urban design, landscape planning, and campus master plan projects globally. She has also collaborated with design firms and research institutions on practical projects involving brownfield remediation, green stormwater infrastructure (GSI), and innovative design visualization.
