As an Implementation Coach, Jess coaches system leaders, school leaders and educator teams on designing, launching, and sustaining a team-based strategic school staffing model that aligns to the unique context of their school community. Jess also co-designs and facilitates high-impact professional learning experiences to support educator teams preparing for and implementing team-based strategic staffing.
Throughout her career, Jess’s approach to leadership has been people-centered, asset-based, outcomes-focused. Prior to joining the Next Education Workforce, Jess co-founded a small consulting firm that guided organizations through complex change, specializing in capacity building, inclusive leadership and strengthening organizational culture. Before that, Jess served as a teacher, instructional coach, principal and principal manager, bringing over 15 years of experience in K-12 education. Jess earned degrees in Social Work, Gender & Diversity Studies and English from Xavier University and holds a Master’s Degree in Education from Hunter College.
Outside of work, Jess enjoys traveling, game nights and being in nature, especially near water.
