Rithik Roy Thati is a graduate student in the M.S. in Artificial Intelligence in Business program at Arizona State University’s W. P. Carey School of Business. He has a background in Computer Science and Engineering with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, along with hands-on experience in AI systems, data analytics, automation, research support, and operations management.
His technical work focuses on building practical AI and analytics solutions that transform raw data into structured, decision-ready insights. He has developed projects such as a Universal AI Analytics Platform for automated data cleaning, semantic modeling, forecasting, anomaly detection, dashboard reporting, and natural-language querying, as well as SmartQueue AI, an AI-assisted scheduling intelligence platform designed to support operational decision-making through prediction-driven queue optimization and workflow monitoring.
Rithik currently serves as a Research Aide with the Complex Adaptive Systems Initiative at Arizona State University, where he supports interdisciplinary research operations through web-based research, literature review support, database maintenance, company profiling, scientific journal tracking, document organization, and structured research-administrative workflows.
His professional background includes experience as an HR Operations Associate, where he supported onboarding coordination, employee records management, HRMS updates, documentation workflows, data validation, reporting, stakeholder communication, and process improvement initiatives. This experience strengthened his ability to manage structured information, maintain accuracy, communicate professionally, and support complex operational processes.
Rithik’s interests include artificial intelligence, data analytics, machine learning, research operations, business systems, automation, process improvement, and decision-support technologies. He is passionate about applying AI and data-driven thinking to real-world organizational, research, and operational challenges.
