Christopher Neubert is the Deputy Director of the Swette Center for Sustainable Food Systems and a Research Associate Professor in the School of Sustainability at Arizona State University.
Prior to joining ASU, Neubert held several senior policy and legislative positions in the U.S. Congress. He served as budget analyst for the U.S. Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry, where he worked on federal agricultural and nutrition policy and their fiscal impacts; policy advisor on agriculture and environment for the U.S. Senate Committee on the Budget; and as a legislative director in the U.S. House of Representatives.
Neubert earned his Ph.D. in Geography from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and was a Fulbright Scholar in Sri Lanka. He is the co-editor of Feminist Geography Unbound, and his work has been published in Antipode, Signs, Society and Space, and Gender, Place & Culture.
