Sarah Doyle

I am proud alumna of the ASU School of Social Work BSW program. I continued my education at the University of Wisconsin- Madison and completed my MSW in 2009 with an academic concentration in Social Policy and Behavioral Health. During my time in Wisconsin, I worked for a state Senator focusing on legislation concerning women, children and health issues.

For the past 10 years, I have been working in the medical social work arena serving patients and families afflicted by trauma. Since 2015, I have been teaching for the ASU School of Social Work in the areas of medical social work, diversity and field concentration. 

 My teaching philosophy strives to balance evidence-based academic activities with the practical implantation of professional best practices. This philosophy aids students in developing their own professional goals, ethical standards, and community service as well as to respect the unique diversity of the constituents we serve.
