Courtney Walls is the Director of Financial Aid for ASU’s John Shufeldt School of Medicine and Medical Engineering. Since joining Arizona State University in 2014, she has served in several leadership roles across the university, including Financial Aid Manager and Assistant Director in ASU’s central Financial Aid Office, as well as overseeing scholarships and fellowships for the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering.
A first-generation college student, Courtney began her career as a Federal Work Study student in UW–Milwaukee’s Financial Aid Office. Her experience shaped a deep commitment to expanding access to higher education and promoting financial literacy. In her current role, she is passionate about supporting ASU’s inaugural medical students not only in financing their education, but also in building lifelong financial confidence and responsibility.
