Chris Jones was born and raised in San Diego, California and is a first-generation college graduate, having graduated from Seton Hill University where he earned his B.A. in Communication and was a member of the football team.
Chris has dedicated his entire career to helping students and their families navigate the college admissions process. Prior to ASU, Chris started his career as an Admissions Counselor at Seton Hill University where he helped to increase student enrollment in marginalized communities and assisted students throughout the entirety of the admissions cycle. He also has experience helping adult students at Universal Technical Institute obtain technical training, secure financial assistance, and pursue local employment opportunities.
As Recruitment Coordinator for the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication, he helps coordinate recruitment initiatives for prospective undergraduate students. He also assists in managing the Cronkite Ambassadors, student workers that aim to create peer-to-peer connections with prospective students. His mission is rooted in the belief that higher education constitutes a human right, driving him to support all prospective Cronkite students and their families through the admissions process.
