Pauline Komnenich is a professor and director of the MS in Nursing and Nurse Educator Program in the Edson College of Nursing and Health Innovation at Arizona State University. Her research interests include family caregiving of older adults cross culturally, characteristics of caregiver dyads, end of life issues, palliative care of older adults, nursing education and interprofessional research and education. Since 2008, she has been the ASU faculty coordinator for the Nursing Education Exchange (NEXus) Consortium Project comprised of 12 university-based nursing colleges offering distance accessible doctoral programs. Among her honors and awards is the March of Dimes' Legend of Nursing Award in 2010.
