Peixia Shao is a Postdoctoral Research Scholar at LEI. Her research focuses on the intersection of emerging technologies, learning analytics, and learning sciences. Across multiple projects, she has examined how learners interact with digital tools and AI systems, applying data-driven and theory-informed methods to uncover behavioral, cognitive, and affective processes that shape learning outcomes.
She is interested in designing and evaluating AI-powered learning systems grounded in learning theory and pedagogical principles. She is committed to ensuring that emerging AI technologies are developed and implemented in ways that amplify human potential and expand access to high-quality education.
