Originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma Jennifer Graf attended Arizona State University to study Visual Communication Design. She interned with J. Walter Thompson Worldwide in Frankfurt Germany as a student and shortly after received a Bachelor of Science in 2008.
While in Frankfurt, Jennifer discovered the power of design thinking as a universal language, which inspired her to move to Singapore upon graduation to further this exploration. In Singapore, Jennifer led a diverse team to create worldwide teaching modules, embracing the concept of design as a language that transcends cultural and geographical boundaries. Her work involved projects across North America, Europe, and Asia, reinforcing her passion for design is a universal means of communication.
Jennifer aims to instill in her students an appreciation for design's deeper purpose beyond aesthetics, emphasizing its role in fostering understanding and connection across diverse populations.
Since returning to the greater Phoenix area Jennifer has worked as an Art Director for Primavera Online High School, Sun Devil Athletics, Carvana, Discount Tire, and currently serves as Creative Designer within Student Success Innovations (SSI) in ASU’s Office of the University Provost.
Along with her work for the ASU’s Office of the University Provost, Jennifer teaches first year Principles Graphic Design I & II as well as second year Typography, Visual Communication I, and, Letterform at The Design School since 2017.
