Long Bio
I am an Assistant Professor at ASU in the School of Social Work. I research how public policies, working conditions, and community interventions impact the financial and overall well-being of low-income families. A lot of my work focuses on policy interventions intended for pregnant people and families with young children, such as pregnancy workplace accommodations, public income support programs, and community Family Resource Centers. The goal of my research is to identify areas where community practice and social policy can help reduce poverty and support family well-being.
