Tim Lindquist is a professor emeritus of software engineering in the School of Computing and Augmented Intelligence with the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University.
Lindquist joined ASU in 1985 as a faculty member in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. In 1995, he served as the associate chair for academic affairs and in 2000 he moved to the Polytechnic campus as a department chair. In 2003, he became associate dean and director of the Division of Computing Studies on the Polytechnic campus. Together with administrators in Tempe, he created project-rich computing programs for the Polytechnic campus to augment ASU Tempe computing offerings. He served as the interim dean of the College of Science and Technology on the Polytechnic campus from 2006 to 2008. His areas of expertise include mobile computing, distributed applications and software engineering. He retired in May 2020.
