Ms. Bennett specializes in family dynamics and geriatric care management. Before receiving her MSW, she worked with FBOs (Faith-Based Organizations) to establish community and religious-based programs and resources to increase successful outcomes for individuals recovering from addiction and survivors of domestic and sexual abuse. She has more than 16 years of experience assisting impoverished and vulnerable populations, coordinating state and community partnership trainings and conferences on social determinants impacting overall health, health equity, and accessible information/resources. Her professional interest and background include refugee health and advocacy, cultural competency, community outreach, program development, care management for vulnerable populations, family therapy, and trauma. Ms. Bennett began co-instructing graduate-level social work courses since 2016.
