Long Bio

Lisa Cavazos-Barrett received her Bachelor degree in Social Welfare from Fresno State University, her Master’s Degree in Social Work and a certification as a Public Manager from Arizona State University. Lisa’s social work experience consists of the child welfare system, developmental disabilities services, domestic violence shelters, foster/adoption services and community health care. Lisa has been a Field Instructor, a Field Liaison and is currently a Field Specialist for the ASU School of Social Work Field Education Collaborative. Lisa provides support to BSW and MSW students. She is also the ASU Field Education Medical Placement Coordinator and works with students interested in a medical internship to meet all the pre-placement requirements.
